In April 2011, the organizer called
upon some filmmakers to create a five-minute short film based on the same
instructions.
Over the following year, 32 filmmakers participated, and 60 films were released
online. They were also screened as an omnibus film at various film festivals.

In 2021, the filmmakers who had
participated in the previous "BYT 2011"were requested to produce new
works, and 14 filmmakers submitted their works. Works on the theme of the Great
East Japan Earthquake from 10 years ago, Covid19, and a day with family etc were
collected.

This film consists of 7 pieces that were initially produced for the
online-movie-project “BETWEEN YESTERDAY & TOMORROW (BYT)” launched in 2011 and
reunited in 2021, when the big catastrophe of Tsunami and the nuclear powerplant
accident hit Japan and the Corona-Pandemic threatened our life worldwide. The
film presents the ongoing crisis mentioning and comparing the situation of ten
years ago.
