IKEDA YASUNORI

Born in 1976 in Fukushima.
Yasunori Ikeda's works include an impromptu-created “MOSAIC” (2001 with Masakazu Saito), a documentary “7×7” (2004) which is composed of footages taken over the course of 49 days, and “Man of Soil 3 portraits” (2009) in which characters are portrayed by images based on a narration.Ikeda continues to screen at festivals around the world including documentary, narrative and experimental films.

YASUNO TARO

Born in 1979 in Tokyo. Currenty resides in Saitama. Completed a course at IAMAS and now works as a
composer. Taro mainly writes algorithmic instrumental music. He recently wrote Series of Musicinema (the ninth for musicinema, International Festival for Arts and Media Yokohama 2009) combined with visuals. Lately
he collaborates with artists such as theater group, faifai. Currently he teaches part-time at Tokyo University
of the Arts - Art Media Center and the Department of Music. College of Art, Nihon University.

Born in Aichi. Currently resides in Tokyo. Arisa began making experimental visuals and animations while in
school. She studied under IIMURA Takahiko. Her work is based on observations of our deeper
unconscious feelings. Recently she has made lyrical sand painting animations using a glass plate. Her
works include chorus, which was screened at film festivals in more than seven countries, and blessing
(screened at Animateka 2011, Slovenia and other film festivals), a stop-motion animation about a baby

Born in 1976. Currently resides in Kyoto. Identifying himself as Chinese Malaysian, Tan is a contemporary
artist and multimedia arts creator. He is fond of the integration of artistic forms. The distinctive feature of
his artistic expression can be traced to the combination of digital interactive installations and analog
technology. Tan's representative works include Fluid City (live protection of water and oil), Gel City (interactive
projection mapping) among others. His first computer animated short film, Snowland, won the Award of Digital
